Cameron Kirkland—infamously known as Cam Kirk is a notable Atlanta-based photographer and entrepreneur originally from Maryland. Getting his start working with iconic trap artists such as Gucci Mane, Migos, 21 Savage, Future, Young Thug, etc. in Atlanta, Kirk has been cultivating creativity behind the scenes in the music industry for over 13 years.
In 2017, he launched Cam Kirk Studios, a safe place for creatives to advance their skills, market themselves and network, something that was lacking within the local Atlanta creative community. Over the years it has become known as a photography studio and a music-based space where artists can come and create visuals for their music. 2019 marked the launch of Collective Gallery. Together with business partner John Rose, Cam created a label like company for photographers in partnership with Atlantic Records forming the first partnership of its kind. Paving his own way within the entertainment and music spaces, he officially launched CKS, his own TV/film streaming platform with original content in 2023.
A true creative and cultural influencer, Cam has been featured in brand campaigns for global companies and entities such as Nike, Airbnb, Puma, NFL, NBA, Coca-Cola, Meta, and more. Merging his love for music culture and photography, Cam’s distinct style captures the personality of renowned brands worldwide.
Cam attended Morehouse College for Business Marketing and currently is based in Atlanta. Despite the opportunity to establish himself in major artist hubs like NY or LA, Cam chose to remain in Atlanta where he first fell in love with documenting the culture that shaped his passion. His mission is to educate and expose photographers to more opportunities to help them hone their crafts. As a true activist, Cam established the Cam Kirk Foundation, a non-profit focused on art, education and community. Since 2019, the foundation hosts #SpinTheBlock, a creative community service event with a goal to inspire communities around the world to improve their surrounding environment through awareness on recycling. With his brand, he aims to further expand it globally to reach wider audiences beyond the U.S and mobilize the Cam Kirk Studio to different cities.
