The world of entertainment is an ever-changing landscape that grows more competitive year after year. In order to survive the shifts and demands of the industry, it takes entrepreneurial know-how, innovative thinking, and creativity to be successful.
Our solution is Biz Savvy Artist™ Academy, our annual one-day event designed to provide creatives with the tools, training, and support to start and scale profitable creative businesses. It features interactive workshops/panel discussions by Atlanta’s best, brightest and most successful artist-entrepreneurs, and tech enthusiasts sharing their expertise on navigating the Arts & Entertainment industries while sharing practical business strategies. It also includes networking, a keynote presentation, and experiential marketplace and vendor expo.
Since 2014, Biz Savvy Artist™ and the Biz Savvy Artist™ Academy have helped independent and emerging artists forge a path of success to become profitable and innovative entrepreneurs. Through specialized business training and a curriculum curated by Biz Savvy Artist™, creatives in music, film, performing, literary, and visual arts are able to tap into the synergy of business and the creative arts and use their G.P.S to find and navigate a profitable path doing what they love.

Boy, was it a great decision to attend Biz Savvy Artist Academy!
The information in the workshops were crucial to everything I’m doing right now career-wise.

I also loved the graphic recording (an illustrated overview of the workshop) sketched by Ross Boone. Much props to Kim Fennell for orchestrating this phenomenal afternoon!
