Rob Owens was born in Kansas and as a child of military parents. He attended 5 different schools growing up. Both parents have since retired, serving a combined almost 60 years; his mother with nearly 40 years. He is a graduate of Alabama State University where he earned my BS in Computer Information Systems.
Always being the new kid helped him to quickly understand the value of building purposeful and meaningful relationships. Maturing into his professional career, he became very enterprising and his life experiences began to unearth their value. Rob is known for his critical thinking, project management, soft skills, and networking ability.
His work experience spans across several industries to include Medtech, Finance, Film, Fitness, IT, Nonprofit, and more. He has co-founded the performance apparel brand Lasso, which he helped grow into the category leader, serves as the founder of a non- profit called Dope Dads, and currently works at Georgia Institute of Technology.
